Mr. Kheradpir represents a technology and business executive who is currently the CEO of Coriant and Juniper Networks. Thanks to his professional skills and knowledge, he has enjoyed success in various fields, one of which is technology.
His career began at the GTE Laboratories, where he was working on network routing and management. The success he achieved here eventually ended in his becoming the company’s Chief Technology Officer. Thanks to his world-class organization that helped the development of one of the first national networks, the company converted its business to numerous efficient network operations that were essential in the success of the company. After this, he joined Barclays, and here he developed products such as Pingit and eventually became the company’s Technology Officer. He was also a Vice President of Verizon Company, which turned into a media communications leader thanks to him.
Juniper Networks offers various network solutions to many companies, and it develops products such as network security products, routers, switchers, etc. These products, routers in particular, are used for performing IP address lookups, and the company also sells edge routers, data centers and other products necessary for numerous business services. Juniper Networks owes much of its success to its CEO, Mr. Kheradpir of Cornell, due to whose successful business operations and plans the company built a strong foundation for the future. He has recently presented his IOP (Integrated Operational Plan) that will help the company to reduce further expenses. He has been talking to a lot of customers and implemented his new plan in order to reduce costs, and thus contribute more to the company’s success. He states that customers’ priorities differ a lot. For instance, Telekom is looking for operational cost efficiencies and the ability to find new revenue streams through virtual CPE. On the other hand, financial firms are interested in infrastructure with high security and enforcements by connecting different policies into the infrastructure. In order to fulfill all this, Mr. Kheradpir has adopted a new relationship with the customers, and they will both address various and possible challenges and find new solutions for customers’ needs.
So, Mr. Kheradpir has shown that any business can impact a company, and he strictly relies on those business operations that will eventually bring about the company’s success and meet all the customers’ needs. So, one should keep this in mind whenever they feel like their business is not going the way they planned.
