Mr Francisco Domenech is the managing partner Politank, an organization which is responsible for developing strategies on how private interests can be represented in government. Before his current role, he was the Director of the Office of Legislative Services of the PR Legislative Assembly between 2005 and 2008.
During his time at the Office of Legislative Services, he helped streamline the organization which has more than 130 employees. He also helped expand the services which are offered by the Legislative Library such as access to the physically handicapped and the blind. Between 2007 and 2012, Mr Domenech served as a member of the Democratic National Committee where he represented the Young Democrats of America. This made him a delegate during the last four Democratic Conventions. He served as the deputy campaign manager of Hillary Clinton’s successful primary campaign in Puerto Rico 2008 and 2016. As a result, he was appointed to the national finance committee for the Ready for Clinton Initiative.
Francisco graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Rico Piedras Campus obtaining a BA in Political Science. He also graduated from the same university with Juris Doctor. He holds a certificate in comparative law from the University College of London. While at the University, he served as the President of the General Student Body Council. Moreover, he was the Academic Senator in UPR Rio Piedras Campus Academic Senate. Before then, he was the Student Body President of the university’s College of Social Sciences.
Mr Domenech is an admitted attorney who can serve before the US District of Puerto Rico, the courts of the Commonwealth in Puerto Rico, the Federal Circuit, the US Courts of Appeals for the First Circuit, the US Supreme Court, and the District of Columbia Circuit.
Besides his involvement in democratic politics, Mr Francisco Domenench actively participates through Politank and individually in philanthropic endeavors. As such, he has been involved in philanthropic activities through the Clinton Foundation, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, the Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, the TASIS Dorado Scholarship Fund, and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation.
