When Eva Moskowitz began Success Academy just over 10 years ago, she probably only thought about the tens of thousands of children in New York City that needed better education than what they were getting.
More than a decade later, however, and after Success Academy has been a huge success, Eva Moskowitz is now promoting Success Academy around the country in the form of a new platform called Education Institute.
Education Institute, aka Ed Institute, is a platform and a data base of knowledge that other educators in charter schools around the country can access. This platform allows them to download every lesson plan and every teaching resource Success Academy teachers have used, as well as gives them access to the Academy’s entire curriculum.
After all, Eva Moskowitz surmises, if how they educate their children in Success Academy schools is having such a positive impact, then surely the same curriculum and way of teaching will help other children across America as well.
This, of course, is very likely to hold true at least when you look at how successful Success Academy and Eva Moskowitz have been with the way they teach New York City’s low-income children of color.
Not only do most of these children now test very high up the New York State charts, but Success Academy has already managed to open 41 schools for 14,000 students with thousands more desperate to get in. Three more schools are also planned in the coming year.
Eva Moskowitz does not believe in making money from Success Academy’s curriculum and teacher materials either. Instead, she and other executives at Success Academy are providing all of this educational material for free to any educator in America that wants it.
To access it, all you have to do is register on the Success Academy website. You will then have access to everything Success Academy has to offer.
